Happy New Year! I’m in Lisbon, Portugal with my family, celebrating being together:
I’ve updated my packing list for anyone in the group coming to Madagascar in March 2013, and I’ve updated my wish list for anyone at home who would like to send me a package.
Quick note on letters and packages: I’ve had some things get lost recently so please don’t send anything valuable or irreplaceable. Mom and Ann Marie also had the good idea to send things in two smaller padded envelopes in case one gets lost.
Also, if I haven’t thanked you for a letter or package via email, facebook or return letter, most likely I haven’t received it (on that note, thanks Terry, Ann Marie, and Kate for sending love and goodies for my parents to bring to me).
Lastly, I appreciate packages very much (see my “wish list” for fun things to include), but mostly I just like to hear about your lives and it makes me feel good to know that you’re thinking of me, so consider sending a recent photo or writing a quick note even if it doesn’t say much more than what you did this week.
Happy New Year!
Much love always,
Gab XOXO

Dear Gabrielle,
Ari and I love the photo of you, your Mom and Dad in front of the trolley car. We used to go to Grover Cleveland High School in Queens by trolley car……that may give you an idea of how long ago it was. Happy to know that you even enjoy receiving uneventful letters. We do think of you, miss you, and love you. I will look for your “wish list” sorry, I didn’t know that you had one. Enjoy being with your family and eating all the delicious food……cooked by you and Gregory or at restaurants.
A hug and a kiss, love to all,
Connie and Ari
Ahug and a kiss from the two of us,
